Stepping into Velvet Restaurant & Bar was a delight from the get-go. The Smoked Duck sandwich was a symphony of flavors, perfectly paired with the tangy zest of Yuzu Lemonade. And the kids were thrilled with the cheekily named "I don't care" menu – the beef burger was a hit! It's a rare find to have a place that caters so well to both adult tastes and kiddie whims. I initially came here just to watch a movie, but I've found myself returning more often to enjoy the restaurant's atmosphere. With its clean facilities(especially restroom), nostalgic music and subtle lighting, this place offers a unique experience—all at reasonable prices. Movie enthusiasts, in particular, will be captivated by the walls lined with framed film stills. If you're looking for something new in Mont Kiara, I highly recommend checking it out.

I love this place. The food is amazing, price is reasonable and the atmosphere is just so comfy and cozy. Great music too. Staff are extremely friendly and professional. This is my go-to place when I need a positive change in atmosphere.

Come here few days ago to have lunch here but I forgot the day & time. I wanted to say that I love the cinema design, very simple but yet so cantik. Nice songs playing. Despite that all the crew look so busy ( maybe pls consider about hiring staffs) but kudos to Alyaa, she explained to me about the ticketing price. I've never been to luxe cinema before so I asked too much questions but she was very helpful, she also show me the pictures of the halls & seats. Plus, my daughter enjoy her lunch Might come again for movies soon!

We dined at Velvet Restaurant before our movie and were pleasantly surprised—everything exceeded our expectations. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, offering great value. The lush, classy decor and background of classic movie soundtracks created a nostalgic atmosphere, with framed photos of iconic films adding to the charm. Our server, Hafizal, was exceptionally attentive and made our family outing feel special. A perfect spot for movie and food lovers alike, highly recommended for both special occasions and casual nights out.

Good experience dining here. Food was good especially the Carbonara. Nice atmosphere as well. There’s a live singer singing while we ate and it definitely brings up the atmosphere. They serve alcohol as well and I really enjoyed the cocktails served. Would highly recommend others to come here and dine.

Nasi kerabu was a big surprise. It was great with the sauces, flavour, and the "seaweed" on top of the beef. Pasta was great, the flavour & spiciness is great. Despite we were talking for a while, the fries still crunchy. Chicken wings were great.
